The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Pure Platinum” is a versatile, mostly monochromatic white colorway of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s first signature shoe with Nike. A classic performance basketball shoe from Nike’s 1990s collection, the Air Max Penny 1 was worn by Penny with the Orlando Magic during the 1995-96 NBA season. The “Pure Platinum” gives the shoe a fresh makeover with a Pure Platinum synthetic nubuck base with white detailing on the lateral side “wing” panels. Penny’s signature and iconic “1-Cent” branding appears on the heel, and a white jeweled Swoosh is found within the lateral side wings. A clear Air bubble appears in the heel of the midsole to complete the design. Release date: April 7, 2023
