The Nike Air Max 1 LV8 “Obsidian” is a premium offering of the brand’s first-ever Air Max shoe. The alternate “LV8” (or "Elevate") version of the Air Max 1 is noted for its use of upgraded materials, and the “Obsidian” is a recipient of this redesigned look. A buttery cut of white tumbled leather forms the base of the upper, appearing on the toe, forefoot, and collar. Grey leather overlays contrast the look on the forefoot, mid-panel, and heel. An Obsidian leather Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. The same navy blue leather detailing informs the design of the mudguard. A classic “Nike Air” logo is stitched onto the back of the shoe and a visible Air unit appears in the heel of the white midsole. Release date: January 22, 2021.
