The Nike Air Max 1 “Hangul Day” is a special colorway of the retro running shoe inspired by the invention of the Korean alphabet system. Originally released exclusively in Asia before receiving a global release soon thereafter, the “Hangul Day” Air Max 1 modifies the classic sneaker’s design with a minimalistic vibe with mismatched panels. Neutral beige hues are matched with pastel-colored tones across the shoe’s upper. A Jeweled Swoosh is found on both sides of the shoe. On the heel, a blue-tinted plastic heel cover protects the back of the shoe and features dual “Nike Air” and “나이키” branding, which translates from Korean to “Nike” in English. The Air cushioning unit in the heel of the midsole is concealed on this unique look for the Nike Air Max 1. Release date: November 17, 2022
